FAQ

Will it fit my frame triangle?

Measure your frame first. The pack is Top 300 mm, Rear Height 180 mm, Thickness 75 mm, Slope 245 mm, Front Nose 60 mm, Bottom 90 mm. Leave a few millimeters of clearance, as hand-built packs vary slightly at corners and cable exits. A triangle bag and straps are included.

Which BMS tier should I pick?

Motor watts help you find a tier, but your controller's battery current decides it. Pick 30A for up to 1,200W (controller up to 25A), 50A for up to 2,000W (up to 40A), or 60A for up to 2,500W (up to 50A). Peak discharge is 90A, 150A, and 180A. If your controller current is close to the limit, pick the higher tier.

How long does it take to charge?

About 6-7 hours to full with the included 58.8V 5A Fast Charger. Plug in AC first, then connect the battery. When done, unplug the battery first, then AC.

How far will it go?

It depends on how you ride, not the BMS tier. On the same 1,560Wh pack, expect about 45-65 mi (70-105 km) with pedal assist, 35-50 mi (55-80 km) with mixed throttle and pedal assist, or 25-40 mi (40-65 km) with heavy throttle. Payload, speed, temperature, and hills change it.

Which discharge plug should I choose?

Match your controller plug and polarity first. XT60 is rated 60A, Anderson SB50 is rated 50A, XT90 is rated 90A, and QS8 is rated 180A. For the 60A tier, pick XT90 or QS8, as Anderson SB50 becomes the bottleneck. You can also note wire only or another plug in your order notes.

Is it built to order, and how long is delivery?

Yes, each pack is built to order. Assembly takes about 7-10 working days, then delivery takes about 15-20 working days after tracking, so about 22-30 working days from order to doorstep in total. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates, and cell supply, customs, carrier handling, holidays, peak season, and weather can add delays.

What does the warranty cover?

A 2-year limited warranty covers the pack, not the charger. If you need to claim, send your order number and a full BMS report to support@booant.com.
