Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy

At BOOANT, customer satisfaction matters. Because our products are high-value lithium battery systems and many orders are custom-built, this policy explains cancellations, returns, refunds, warranty boundaries, and customer responsibilities in a clear and fair manner.

1. Order Cancellation

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of payment for a full refund.

Once battery production, assembly, testing, or customization has started, cancellation requests may incur material, labor, engineering, testing, and administrative costs.

2. Return Eligibility

  • Return window: Contact us within 14 days of delivery.
  • Condition: Product must be unused, uninstalled, and unmodified.
  • Packaging: Original packaging is required whenever possible.
  • Authorization: Return authorization from BOOANT is required before shipping anything back.
  • Proof: Valid order number required.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom-built battery packs: Non-cancellable and non-returnable once production has started.
  • Installed or used batteries: Any signs of installation, charging, modification, misuse, or physical damage void return eligibility.
  • OEM / wholesale custom orders: Non-returnable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Clearance or final sale items: Marked as final sale at checkout.

4. Shipping Damage or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect:

  1. Contact us within 72 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide order number and clear photos/videos.
  3. Include shipping box, battery, connectors, accessories, and shipping label images.

Once verified, BOOANT will arrange a repair, replacement, partial refund, or full refund depending on the situation.

5. Change-of-Mind Returns

Change-of-mind returns are only available for standard non-custom products and require prior written approval from BOOANT.

  1. Return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
  2. Product must remain unused and in resalable condition.
  3. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
  4. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  5. A restocking fee of up to 10% may apply.

Due to international dangerous goods shipping restrictions for lithium batteries, BOOANT reserves the right to decline change-of-mind returns when return transport is unsafe, impractical, excessively costly, or prohibited by carrier regulations.

⚠ Important: Returning Lithium Batteries

Lithium batteries are classified as Class 9 dangerous goods for transport and require special handling.

  • Never ship batteries without BOOANT authorization.
  • Battery should be discharged to approximately 30% state of charge before return shipping.
  • Never use standard air mail for lithium batteries.
  • Follow BOOANT shipping instructions strictly.

6. Compatibility Responsibility

Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their motor, controller, inverter, charger, discharge connectors, mounting dimensions, and intended application before purchase unless compatibility has been confirmed in writing by BOOANT.

7. Refund Processing

  • Processing time: 5–10 business days after inspection and approval.
  • Refund method: Original payment method.
  • Non-refundable fees: Original shipping fees, customs duties, import taxes, and certain payment processing fees.

8. Customs Duties and Return Shipments

  • Customers are responsible for customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and brokerage fees associated with return shipments unless otherwise agreed.
  • If a return shipment is refused at customs because duties are unpaid and the package is abandoned, BOOANT cannot issue a refund.

9. EU Consumer Rights

Customers located in the European Union may have statutory consumer rights under applicable law. However, under EU consumer regulations, made-to-order, personalized, or custom-configured battery packs may be exempt from the standard 14-day withdrawal right.

10. Warranty Claims

BOOANT provides a 2-Year Limited Warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use.

Issues involving battery capacity degradation, BMS faults, charging abnormalities, or performance concerns after regular usage are handled under our Warranty Policy rather than this Return Policy.
