20S HIGH VOLTAGE

Power for High-Performance E-Motos

72V means 20 cells in series and 84V at full charge. Our largest 72V electric motorcycle batteries carry a 200A BMS, built for motors up to 12000W. That is the power class upgraded Sur-Ron, Talaria, and high-power hub builds run on.

GENUINE SAMSUNG

The Cell Matches the Current

Our 20Ah and 30Ah packs run Samsung 50G, and the 40Ah and 50Ah packs step up to Samsung 50S. The 50S cell handles higher discharge current, which is why the 40Ah and 50Ah packs offer BMS options up to 200A. The cell matches the current the pack is built to deliver.

SIZED RIGHT

Match the BMS and Connector

A 72V eBike battery is only as good as its match to your controller. Size the BMS by your controller's battery current, not its peak phase current, and match the connector to the current: SB50 for 50A, XT90-S for around 90A, QS8 for around 180A, and QS10 for 200A and up. Get those two right, and the pack delivers instead of cutting out.

72V Battery FAQ

Answers about our 72V packs: the 20Ah, 30Ah, 40Ah, and 50Ah models, and custom builds.

Our 72V packs are all built with genuine Samsung cells: a 20Ah triangle or slim e-moto pack (1440Wh), a 30Ah triangle, PVC, or metal case pack (2160Wh), a 40Ah triangle (2880Wh), and a 50Ah metal case (3600Wh). All run 20S with a smart Bluetooth BMS and carry a 2-year warranty.

By range and motor. The 20Ah (1440Wh) suits lighter builds, the 30Ah (2160Wh) suits daily high-power riding, the 40Ah (2880Wh) suits long-range e-motos, and the 50Ah (3600Wh) suits maximum range. Then match the BMS to your motor: the 20Ah goes up to 3000W, the 30Ah up to 3500W, and the 40Ah and 50Ah go up to 12000W.

Motors from 1500W up to 12000W, depending on the BMS option. The 20Ah and 30Ah packs cover 1500W to 3500W builds, including QS motors, high-torque hub motors, and mid-drives. For 8000W and up, take a 40Ah or 50Ah pack with a 150A or 200A BMS.

No. A 12kW motor needs about 167A from the battery at 72V, far above a 60A BMS. Take a 40Ah or 50Ah pack with a 200A BMS instead, and use a QS10 connector.

Size it by your controller's battery current, not its peak phase current. Check the battery current (line current) limit on your controller, then pick a BMS rated above it. A BMS smaller than your controller's battery current will cut out under load.

Match it to your BMS current. Anderson SB50 handles up to 50A, XT90-S handles around 90A and reduces sparking on plug-in, QS8 handles around 180A, and QS10 handles 200A and up. Never pair an SB50 with a 100A to 200A BMS, it becomes the bottleneck.

It depends on your weight, speed, terrain, and how hard you throttle. As a guide, at 20-30Wh per mile on an e-moto, the 20Ah (1440Wh) runs roughly 50-70 miles in theory, the 30Ah (2160Wh) roughly 70-105 miles, the 40Ah (2880Wh) roughly 95-140 miles, and the 50Ah (3600Wh) roughly 120-180 miles. Real range drops with speed, hills, and throttle use.

No. 84V is the full-charge voltage of a 72V nominal pack (20S). There is no separate 24S pack. Controllers labeled ND84 or 84450 pair with a 72V nominal pack.

Yes, we build custom packs all the time. Tell us your frame size, the capacity you want, and your connectors, and we will build a 72V pack with genuine Samsung cells, a metal case or PVC wrap, and a smart Bluetooth BMS to fit. Start from the Build Your Battery page.
