Will this 72V triangle pack fit my bike frame?
Make a quick cardboard cutout of our pack outline (280mm slope × 220mm base × 175mm height × 90mm width) and place it inside your bike frame's triangle. Leave roughly 5–10mm of wiggle room around the perimeter for mounting straps and your main wiring harness.
Which BMS rating should I order: 30A, 40A, or 60A?
Check your motor controller’s maximum current limit. Pick 30A for motors up to 1500W, 40A for motors up to 2000W, and 60A for builds pushing 2500W–3000W. If your controller pulls 45A peak, go with the 60A BMS to prevent safety cutoffs during hard throttle hits.
Will the 5A fast charger degrade the Samsung 50G cells?
Not at all. With a 4-parallel (4P) setup, the 5A charging current splits evenly to just 1.25A per Samsung 21700 cell, which is well below Samsung’s rated standard charging spec. It refuels the pack in 4–5 hours without thermal buildup or shortened cell cycle life.
How does the JBD Bluetooth BMS work and can I shut off power?
Download the Xiaoxiang/Smart BMS app on iOS or Android and connect to the battery over Bluetooth. You get live views of individual cell voltages, pack temperature, and remaining amp-hours. You can also toggle the discharge MOSFET switch in the app to shut down power delivery as an extra anti-theft measure.
Is this battery waterproof for rainy days and wet trails?
The pack is weather-resistant against road splashes and rain showers thanks to thick heat shrink wrap, internal epoxy barrier plates, and a sealed top jacket. However, it should never be pressure-washed or submerged in water. For wet riding, we always recommend running a waterproof triangle battery frame bag.
What is the best way to store this 72V pack over winter?
Store it indoors in a dry place between 50°F and 70°F (10°C to 20°C). Charge or discharge the pack to around 50%–60% capacity (roughly 72V–74V resting voltage) before storing. Never leave it sitting at 0% or fully topped up at 84V for months at a time, and check it every 60 days.
