60V Battery FAQ

Thinking about upgrading to 60V? Here is a quick look at real mileage, capacity choices, and custom packs.
Is 60V better than 48V or 52V?

Absolutely. If you want faster acceleration, more torque for climbing hills, and a higher top speed, upgrading to 60V is a massive game-changer. It gives your motor that extra punch and runs more efficiently than 48V or 52V systems under heavy loads.

Which 60V battery capacity should I choose?

It really comes down to how much space you have and how far you want to ride. Go with 20Ah if you want a compact, lightweight pack that is easy to mount. Choose 30Ah for the perfect balance of weight and daily range. If you are going on long rides and have plenty of frame space, grab the 40Ah pack for maximum range.

How far can a 60V battery go?

To be honest, there is no single answer because it depends on your weight, speed, terrain, and how hard you throttle. However, as a general rule, a 60V 20Ah pack usually gets you around 25 to 35 miles of mixed riding, while a 40Ah pack can easily double that. If you ride fast or climb a lot of hills, expect a bit less.

Can BOOANT customize 60V battery packs?

Yes, custom packs are our specialty. We can build a 60V battery tailored to your exact build. You can customize the physical dimensions to fit your frame perfectly, choose between a sleek PVC wrap or a rugged metal case, select your discharge connectors, and even add smart features like a Bluetooth BMS to monitor your cells on your phone.
