BMS Match & Estimated Run Time

Find the right BMS setup and see what kind of real-world run time you can expect from 768Wh of energy.

Standard

30A BMS

250W – 750W
Est. Run Time: Trolling (5A): ~6 Hours Half Throttle (15A): ~2 Hours

Best for small trolling motors, kayak setups, and light RV house power with basic inverters.

High Power

50A BMS

750W – 1200W
Est. Run Time: Trolling (10A): ~3 Hours Full Throttle (30A): ~1 Hour

Ideal for larger boats handling wind/currents and medium off-grid backup systems.

Performance

60A BMS

1000W – 1500W
Est. Run Time: Trolling (12A): ~2.5 Hours Max Discharge (50A): ~35 Mins

Engineered for heavy-duty marine propulsion, larger solar inverters, and maximum power demand.

Please Note: Actual run times are estimated based on standard trolling speeds and continuous discharge. Real-world performance varies depending on load weight, hull design, wind speed, water currents, controller configurations, wire gauges, ambient temperature, and throttle usage.

FAQ

Will this 24V LiFePO4 battery run my trolling motor?

Yes, absolutely. This 25.6V nominal LiFePO4 pack is an excellent lightweight upgrade for 24V trolling motors. Just match your motor's maximum continuous amp draw to the appropriate BMS configuration: choose the 30A BMS for motors under 750W, the 50A BMS for up to 1200W, or the 60A BMS for up to 1500W.

How do I monitor the battery using the JBD Bluetooth BMS?

Simply download the compatible JBD mobile app (available for iOS and Android). Turn on your phone's Bluetooth, open the app, and select your BOOANT battery from the list. You will instantly see your real-time state of charge (SoC), voltage, active current draw, cell balance, and temperature readings.

Can I charge this battery in cold weather, and does it include a charger?

Yes, every battery comes standard with a premium WATE 29.2V 5A smart charger designed specifically for LiFePO4 cells. For safety, the JBD BMS has an integrated temperature cutoff. Avoid charging below 0°C (32°F) to prevent lithium plating and ensure maximum service life.

Can I connect multiple 24V 30Ah batteries in series or parallel?

You can connect up to 4 batteries in parallel to increase capacity (e.g., 24V 120Ah). However, we do not recommend connecting these packs in series to increase voltage, as it can damage the integrated JBD BMS. If you need a higher voltage system (like 48V), please contact our support for a customized pack.
