Will this triangle battery fit inside my bike frame?
The battery dimensions are 375 mm (length) × 235 mm (height) × 410 mm (hypotenuse) with a 90 mm width (14.76 × 9.25 × 16.14 × 3.54 inches). We strongly recommend making a simple cardboard cutout using these measurements to test-fit your bike's inner triangle before ordering.
Should I choose the 30A or 40A BMS version?
Base your choice on your motor kit and controller's current draw: select the 30A BMS (90A peak) for hub or mid-drive motors up to 1000W, or the 40A BMS (120A peak) for 1000W–1500W setups (like Bafang BBSHD or high-torque direct-drive kits) to prevent tripping over-current protection on hard throttle.
Are the Samsung 21700 50G cells genuine?
Yes. Every pack is built using 52 brand-new, original Grade-A Samsung INR21700-50G cells (13S4P configuration). We never use recycled, rewrapped, or generic B-grade cells. You get full rated capacity (20Ah / 960Wh) with minimal voltage drop under heavy acceleration.
How does the Bluetooth app work with the JBD Smart BMS?
Download the free companion app (available for iOS and Android) to connect wirelessly to the battery. You can check individual cell voltages, pack temperature, real-time current draw, and total cycle count, as well as toggle charge and discharge switches directly from your phone.
Can I charge my phone or GPS from the built-in USB port?
Yes. The integrated 5V 2A USB port powers smartphones, bike lights, and GPS units while you ride. Note that the master power switch on the ABS casing controls the entire pack—make sure it is switched ON to activate the battery output and USB port.
How long does a full charge take with the included 5A charger?
Using the included 54.6V 5A aluminum fan-cooled fast charger, a completely depleted pack (0% to 100%) charges in approximately 4 to 4.5 hours. The smart CC/CV charging profile automatically shuts off once cells reach full capacity.
What does the 2-Year Warranty cover?
Your pack comes with a 2-year manufacturer warranty covering manufacturing defects, BMS board failure, and premature cell capacity degradation under normal use. We also provide direct technical support and replacement parts if needed.
