How we calculate range: Estimates assume a 170 lb (77 kg) rider on flat paved terrain at moderate speeds. Pure throttle on steep hill climbs will deliver the lower end of the range, while pedal-assist on flat pavement easily hits the upper threshold.

FAQ

Direct answers about fitment, BMS setup, real-world range, and maintenance

How do I know if this 48V triangle battery will fit my bike frame?
The pack measures 375mm long, 235mm high, 410mm along the hypotenuse, and 90mm thick. We recommend cutting a cardboard template to these dimensions and placing it inside your triangle frame before ordering. Make sure your frame clears the rear suspension shock and top tube weld beads.
Which BMS rating should I choose: 30A, 40A, or 50A?
Match the BMS to your motor controller's current draw: pick 30A for 250W–1000W motors (up to 25A controllers), 40A for 1000W–1500W setups (up to 35A controllers), and 50A for 1500W–2000W high-drain kits. Selecting a higher amp BMS does not force more current into the motor; it simply allows the battery to deliver high amps safely without tripping protections.
How does the smart Bluetooth BMS and mobile app work?
Download the companion BMS app (available on iOS and Android) and connect via Bluetooth. You can monitor live cell balance voltages, real-time current draw, internal pack temperature, total charge cycles, and toggle charge/discharge switches remotely.
Will the included 5A fast charger degrade the Samsung 50G battery cells?
No. In a 5P configuration (5 cells in parallel), a 5A charger delivers 1.0A per cell. Samsung INR21700-50G cells are rated for standard charge rates up to 2.45A each. Charging at 5A is well within safe manufacturer limits, stays cool, and preserves full cycle life.
What realistic range can I expect from a 48V 25Ah (1200Wh) pack?
On a standard 750W–1000W setup with moderate pedal assist, expect 50 to 80 miles (80–130 km) per charge. If you ride full throttle on a 1500W–2000W motor with frequent hill climbing, range will typically be between 30 to 50 miles (50–80 km).
How should I store this battery during winter or long periods of non-use?
Turn off the master power switch and store the pack in a dry indoor area between 10°C and 25°C (50°F–77°F) at roughly 50% to 70% charge (around 48V–50V). Avoid leaving it fully depleted or 100% full for extended months, and top it up for an hour every 60 days.
Can I use the USB port while riding in the rain?
The ABS hard shell protects against light rain and road spray, and the USB port powers phones and GPS units at 5V 1A. When riding in wet weather, keep the protective rubber dust cover closed over the USB and charging ports. Do not submerge the battery or wash it with high-pressure water jets.
