How long does it take to charge this 48V 50Ah battery? +
Using the included 54.6V 10A fast smart charger, a full charge from dead flat takes about 6 hours. For standard top-ups (20% to 80%), expect around 3 hours. The charger's cooling fan keeps temperatures low throughout the process.
Which BMS rating (30A, 40A, 50A, or 60A) do I need for my setup? +
Base it on your motor's rated power: choose 30A for motors up to 1000W; 40A for up to 1500W; 50A for up to 2000W; and 60A for aggressive builds up to 2500W. If you ride steep hills or carry heavy cargo, going one step higher gives extra thermal headroom.
Can I ride with this battery in heavy rain or wet conditions? +
Yes, for normal wet-weather riding. The Samsung 21700 cell pack inside is sealed with waterproof potting compound and wrapped in shock-absorbing foam inside a powder-coated steel casing, so road spray, puddles, and rain are not a problem. Just avoid submerging the pack underwater.

Yes, every pack contains 130 factory-fresh, genuine Samsung INR21700-50G cells in a 13S10P layout, delivering a rated 2,400Wh of energy. You can verify individual cell voltage balance in real time via the JBD Bluetooth smartphone app.
How does the JBD Smart Bluetooth app work? +
Simply scan the QR code included in the box to download the XiaoxiangBMS app (compatible with iOS and Android). Open the app with Bluetooth turned on to view live state-of-charge, cell balance, battery temperature, cycle counts, or toggle charging and discharge output locks remotely.
Will this metal battery case fit my e-bike frame or cargo rack? +
The outer shell measures 275 × 180 × 170 mm (10.8 × 7.1 × 6.7 in) and weighs around 12.5 kg (27.6 lbs). Because the case is hand-potted and powder-coated, please leave at least 5–10 mm of clearance in your frame or tray for wiring clearance and easy slide-in installation.
