FAQ

Will this battery fit my 48V eBike?+

Yes, if your motor and controller run on 48V. Pick the BMS tier that matches your controller's battery current, and check your frame space against about 295 × 135 × 75 mm, leaving a little free play on all sides. On a 52V motor it will still run, but with less power, and it may cut out early if your controller's low-voltage cutoff is set for 52V.

Which BMS tier should I choose: 30A, 40A, or 50A?+

Match your controller's battery current, not your motor's peak watts or phase current. 30A covers motors up to 1000W, 40A up to 1500W, and 50A up to 2000W. If the BMS current sits below your controller's battery current, the pack can cut out while you ride, so check the battery or line current on your controller label.

How long does it take to charge?+

About 6-7 hours from empty with the included 54.6V 5A fast charger. 5A is the sweet spot: fast enough for an overnight charge, gentle enough to protect cycle life.

How far can I ride on one charge?+

On a 1440Wh pack, expect about 45-60 miles with gentle pedal assist, 35-50 miles mixed, and 25-40 miles with hard throttle use. These are estimates: your weight, terrain, tire pressure, and throttle use move the number. The range follows how you ride, not which BMS tier you pick.

Which discharge connector should I pick?+

Pick the one that matches your controller's plug. All four cover all three BMS tiers: Anderson SB50 (50A), XT60 (60A), XT90 (90A), and QS8 (180A). If you are not sure which plug your controller uses, check its connector or send us a photo before you order.

Is the battery waterproof?+

No. The heat-shrink PVC wrap handles rain and road spray, but the pack is not waterproof. Do not submerge it or pressure-wash it.

What does the 2-year warranty cover?+

The battery pack itself, for 24 months. It does not cover the charger or accessories. If you ever need to claim, send your order number and a full BMS report to support@booant.com so we can check the pack's health.
