How do I know if this 72V 50Ah battery fits my bike or build?
Check two main things: dimensions and controller rating. Measure your battery tray or triangle against 300 × 240 × 160 mm (11.81 × 9.45 × 6.30 in). Then make sure your motor controller is rated for 72V nominal (84V fully charged) and doesn't pull more continuous current than your selected BMS rating (80A, 100A, or 150A).
Which BMS continuous rating (80A, 100A, or 150A) should I choose?
Base it on your motor wattage and controller's maximum continuous draw. Pick 80A for motors up to 5,000W, 100A for motors up to 6,000W, and 150A if you are running heavy 9,000W setups. Matching your BMS properly prevents unwanted low-voltage cut-offs during hard, wide-open throttle pulls.

Download the official Xiaoxiang / JBD BMS app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and open the app near your battery. It will automatically detect the battery signal so you can view individual cell group voltages, monitor pack temperature, track cycles, and toggle discharge switches.
How long does it take to fully charge with the included 84V 10A charger?
A routine charge from 10% to 90% takes around 4.5 to 5 hours using the included 84V 10A fast smart charger. A completely depleted pack takes roughly 5 to 6 hours for a full 100% top-off and cell balance stage.
Is the metal casing waterproof and safe for off-road riding?
Yes. The rugged sheet-metal case is internally sealed with waterproof potting compound and lined with high-density shock foam. It easily handles rain, trail mud, and rough vibrations. Just avoid submerging the battery completely in standing water or spraying direct high-pressure water at the display and port seams.
What is covered under the 2-Year Limited Warranty?
Our 2-year warranty covers genuine Samsung 21700 50S cell failures, BMS hardware defects, integrated telemetry screen malfunctions, and charger issues under normal use. It does not cover user-induced physical casing crushes, water submersion damage, or unauthorized internal circuit modifications.
